What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Lead project reviews and client communications regarding peatland restoration projects and their methodologies

Manage analyses of climate projects related to agriculture, forestry, and greenhouse gas emissions

Supervise technical staff by setting performance expectations and conducting evaluations

Prepare technical analysis reports and communication materials on carbon accounting

Develop project work plans, budgets, and reports to ensure high-quality deliverables

What is Required (Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or environment-related field required; Master’s degree preferred

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in food systems and GHG accounting for land use

Experience in managing technical aspects of GHG accounting in agriculture

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Experience developing, mentoring, and managing teams of technical staff

Field or research experience with forest carbon or palm production GHG accounting

Knowledge of monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) approaches within palm supply chains

Familiarity with key climate corporate leadership standards (e.g., Verra, GHG Protocol)

Knowledge of geospatial technologies and methodologies
