Role Electromagnetic Design Engineer (Full‑time)
Responsibilities Design and analyze electromagnetic systems and components; develop and optimize motor designs; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives; ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications; create technical documentation; troubleshoot design issues; contribute to product development and performance enhancement.
Qualifications
Experience in electromagnetic design, analysis, and motor design
Strong proficiency in simulation tools and software related to electromagnetic analysis
Knowledge of power systems, power transmission, and control systems
Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork
Ability to work on‑site in Radford, VA
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and practices
Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
