We are seeking an enthusiastic GIS Analyst I to support a wide range of projects across the organization. In this role, you will work with CAD and tabular data, manage and maintain geospatial databases, create maps and visual figures, and perform data analysis and reporting. You will also contribute by providing training, supporting workflow improvements, and helping automate routine processes.
A DAY IN THE LIFE As a GIS Analyst I, you’ll use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support a wide range of projects across the organization. You’ll work with CAD and tabular data, manage and maintain geospatial databases, create maps and visual figures, and perform data analysis and reporting. You’ll also contribute by providing training, supporting workflow improvements, and helping automate routine processes.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
Assist with the ArcGIS Enterprise platform including geodatabase management, loading data, and creating maps using desktop GIS.
With guidance, provide data conversions to GIS geodatabases from field and engineering data sources such as spreadsheets, drawings, KMZ, and shapefiles.
With guidance, perform GIS data entry and data editing – both manual and modeled.
Communicate and track data task progress for project deliverables.
Escalate data issues or discrepancies to senior GIS team members.
Support the GIS team on planning, strategy, and scheduling GIS enterprise initiatives and aligning with industry best practices.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, environmental science or related field, or equivalent combinations of related education and experience required.
2 or more years of Geographic Information Systems experience required. Hands on experience with field mobilization or construction environments preferred.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
Some travel is required (25%).
What Sets You Apart

Knowledge of ArcGIS and ESRI products or other GIS software.

$61,220.00 - $82,309.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
