Position: Diesel Reefer Technician Division: Miller Truck Leasing | Location: Florence, NJ
Base pay:
$75,000.00
–
$85,000.00
per year (actual pay depends on skills and experience).
Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using company‑supplied OEM software, following proper warranty procedures
Repair or replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
Replace clutches and transmissions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
ThermoKing Reefer experience required
Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1‑7 diesel tractors
Valid CDL, or the ability to obtain a CDL with trainer assistance
Proficiency with hand tools
Availability to work Monday ‑ Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
