Apartment Service Technician
We are Essential Staffing Solutions, LLC, seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. Compensation is $24.00/hr.
Job Description As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of apartment units and property facilities. Your primary duties include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and assisting with grounds maintenance. Additionally, you will complete residential work orders for property residents, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction, and work closely with our maintenance team to keep our properties in excellent condition and exceed resident expectations.
Job Duties
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repair or replacement as needed.
Complete Make Ready/Punch-Outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
Address residential work orders for current property residents efficiently and professionally.
Assist in renovation projects to enhance property quality.
Maintain the curb appeal of the community by assisting with grounds maintenance tasks.
Job Qualifications
Must have your own tools (required).
1‑2 years of handyman or apartment maintenance experience.
Experience in appliance repair, including refrigerators, dishwashers, icemakers, and microwaves.
Proficiency in handyman tasks, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Strong ability to complete residential work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work well in a team environment with a strong work ethic.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
