Port Engineer – International Marine Operations

Responsibilities
Manage the technical condition and maintenance of assigned vessels, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Coordinate shipyard repairs, drydockings, and technical services with regional vendors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with class, flag, and international maritime regulations, including IMO standards.
Monitor technical budgets, performance metrics, and maintenance schedules to optimize vessel uptime.
Conduct vessel inspections and participate in audits to verify adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with global technical and operations teams to maintain consistency in standards and procedures.
Support emergency repairs and troubleshooting activities to minimize operational disruptions.
Requirements
Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent or Port Engineer in international maritime operations.
Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, class requirements, and international maritime standards.
Experience working with Asian shipyards and regional suppliers is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel within the Asia‑Pacific region as needed.
