The Inspector ensures that all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. This role requires technical precision, field experience, and strong documentation skills to verify quality, maintain compliance, and support project teams through proactive communication and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field inspections during construction phases. Verify materials, workmanship, and compliance with project documents. Document and report nonconformities or deficiencies. Maintain daily inspection reports and photo documentation. Coordinate with project teams to address and resolve issues. Enforce safety standards on-site. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in construction inspection. Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and reporting skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with municipal or DOT inspection procedures.
