Maintenance Mechanic (1st shift) - Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our 1st shift team at a well‑established food manufacturing company. This permanent full‑time position plays a pivotal role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently. You will work with high‑tech machinery, troubleshoot complex problems, and help maintain our high production standards.
Base pay range $35.00/hr – $45.00/hr

Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with various machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
Assist in the development and implementation of machine maintenance plans.
Document all performed work and conditions found; use maintenance computer software as necessary.
Assist in training other mechanics and operators to perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational diploma or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management is an advantage.
