Line Service Technician - $1,000 Sign‑on Bonus
Modern Aviation is seeking experienced Line Service Technicians to provide essential ground support services to private jet owners, guests, and crews.
Primary Purpose of the Position The Line Service Technician (LST) attends to all service needs related to transient aircraft. Responsibilities include fueling, towing, parking, basic cleaning, and any other ground support tasks that ensure timely, safe, and professional service. Exceptional customer‑service skills are essential.
Essential Functions
Coordinate aircraft and ramp operations during assigned shifts.
Delegate and assign duties to qualified personnel, monitor progress, and assess results.
Oversee the work of LSTs, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Assist Line Manager and Line Technician Trainer with onboarding and training new employees.
Maintain shift reports and related paperwork.
Operate a wide variety of aircraft ground support equipment.
Ensure safe handling, movement, placement, storage, de‑icing, and fueling of aircraft.
Demonstrate ramp awareness regarding aircraft, debris, and inclement weather.
Perform work with minimal supervision and make decisions consistent with company SOPs.
Perform additional duties as assigned by shift‑lead or Line Manager.
Work all 3 shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional mathematical skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Physically able to stand or walk for long periods.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Previous customer‑service experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of various aircraft types and servicing is a plus.

Work Environment Employees are routinely exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, extreme heat or cold, chemicals, vibration, and loud noise. Regular lifting of up to 75 lbs. is required.
Travel No travel required.
Physical Requirements Frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. May work nights and weekends.
