We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within industrial and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including low and high voltage applications, and experience working on construction sites or renovation projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and NEC standards to ensure safe and efficient operations across various industrial settings. Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and blueprints to execute wiring and system configurations accurately. Maintain compliance with NEC standards and safety protocols while working on low voltage and high voltage systems. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction blueprints to plan electrical layouts. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime. Assist in renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations within industrial facilities or construction sites. Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or maintenance person services during integrated projects. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies, including proper documentation of work performed. Requirements
Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in industrial environments. Hands‑on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, blueprints, and NEC standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Construction site experience or involvement in renovation projects is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues. Relevant certifications or licenses related to industrial or commercial electrical work are preferred. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require working at heights or in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols.
