Production Associate 1st and 2nd Shift – Perdue Farms

As a Production Associate you’ll play a crucial role in various aspects of the production line processing poultry product. Typical assignments may include live hang, debone, cut, evisceration, marination, stack off, Multivac, overwrap and sanitation.

Responsibilities Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food product. Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Inspect poultry products for quality and consistency. Package and label finished products accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
Minimum Education High School or equivalent (preferred).
Experience Preferred Experience in protein processing/manufacturing preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces. Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required. May work in environments between 28°F and 100°F. May handle products between 25°F and 50°F. May be exposed to noise 50–110 dB. May be exposed to dust, feathers, and chemicals in poultry processing.
