Electronics Technician 3 – Night Shift Friday – Sunday 6PM – 6:30AM with Security Clearance Overview of M.C. Dean: M.C. Responsibilities Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations.

Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.

Field Technicians must possess strong problem‑solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Utilizes and comprehends project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing M.C. Dean handbook and policies.

Participates in quality reviews of design documentation, analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability.

Tracks project metrics and participates in weekly resource allocation meetings.

Verifies correct charges in timesheets on projects.

Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation.

Tracks and inventories tools, conducts tool inspections, and organizes material ordering and receiving.

Conducts daily ORM meetings, ensures team compliance with safety requirements, and completes accident/incident reporting.

Participates in PITCO plan creation and build out, executing PITCO plan to ensure high‑quality testing and installation.

Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels, adhering to industry standards.

Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices, network and IT equipment.

Manages base switch configurations, participates in configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoots programmable components.

Ensures compliance with established QC plans and checklists, conducting quality control inspections and documenting findings.

Installs and maintains field devices, terminates and tests system components, and troubleshoots copper and fiber optic issues.

Leads commissioning efforts, tracks commissioning activities, and assists in representing M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.

Communicates consistently with project teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration.

Leads by example, provides constructive feedback, mentors crew members, and encourages strategic thinking and innovation.

Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills, aligning with M.C. Dean's vision, mission, and values.

Provides look‑ahead for assignment of manpower, material procurement/staging and resource planning.

Clearance and Citizenship Requirements Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship. ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.

Key Requirements

High school diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or

Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or

Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program.

Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Required Progressive Experience 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.

Strong oral, written and presentation skills.

Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong time‑management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.

Requires a valid driver's license. Position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with our policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems).

3 years experience focused in electronic security systems.

OSHA 30 certification.

Abilities

Can lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Can relocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.

Can work at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.

Can walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.

Has good vision (may be corrected) and the ability to see in color, and to hear and communicate in English.

May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.

Must recognize problems even if they are not solved.

Applies general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.

Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

Sees details at close range (within a few feet).

Listens to and understands information presented through spoken words.

Pay Range: USD $32.00 – $46.42 per hour.
