Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices for raw materials and finished goods.
Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
Process payroll for manufacturing staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and reconcile subsidiary ledgers.
Track and reconcile inventory levels and production costs.
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close procedures and prepare financial reports.
Monitor cash flow and assist with financial analysis and reporting.
Recommended Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in full‑cycle bookkeeping, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Familiarity with inventory accounting, job costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations specific to manufacturing.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills to manage complex financial records.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience supporting physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
