We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our client's day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow their accounting skill set.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and consistency. Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts each month. Assist with AP/AR processes when needed. Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policies. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules. Assist with annual audit requests and documentation gathering. Maintain fixed asset listings and depreciation schedules. Provide accounting support to internal teams and respond to inquiries. Take on additional projects or tasks as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred. Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong Excel skills and exposure to accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.). High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Clear communication skills and strong organization. Works well both independently and collaboratively. Seniority level
