Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production overheads to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts, specifically for production volumes, labor, and material costs.
Prepare detailed financial reports on plant performance, product profitability, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct in-depth analysis of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, including ROI calculations for new equipment and facility upgrades.
Support inventory valuation and analysis, including obsolescence reserves and turn rates.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
Perform profitability analysis for various product lines, customers, and manufacturing sites.
Recommended Qualifications
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Demonstrated experience with cost accounting principles and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment.
Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data extraction and reporting.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Experience with budgeting, long-range planning, and capital expenditure analysis specific to manufacturing operations.
Bonus Qualifications
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP modules (e.g., production, inventory, cost accounting)
Knowledge of supply chain finance concepts
