Responsibilities
Provide accounting and financial reporting support services to clients.
Work with a team to complete deliverables for clients in a timely, high‑quality manner across multiple industries and geographies.
Deliver best‑in‑class basic accounting and financial reporting under supervision, focusing on responsiveness, timeliness, professionalism, and accuracy.
Perform services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger, and monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reporting.
Assist the team in accomplishing client deliverables.
Prepare client statements and reports for review.
Communicate status, ask timely questions, and seek clarification from leads to keep work progressing.
Respond to basic accounting and software questions, escalating as necessary.
Meet client service expectations by adhering to quality and timely deliverables and budget.
Be responsive to questions and concerns from team members and clients.
Execute defined processes and propose improvements.
Communicate roadblocks and inefficiencies promptly.
Maintain and expand knowledge of accounting principles.
Apply learning from one engagement to the next and share knowledge with teammates.
Stay current with technology updates and obtain certifications as directed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred; experience may substitute.
0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience desired; professional services experience a plus.
Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll principles for recording and summarizing financial data.
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and/or Bill.com a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Compensation $78,000 – $100,000 (actual compensation varies with skills, experience, qualifications, and location).
