Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Accountant role based in Carmi, IL. The Accountant will handle day‑to‑day financial operations including preparing and managing business and individual tax returns, performing audits, and providing bookkeeping services. Other responsibilities include analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and advising clients on financial strategies and tax planning. Administrative and reporting tasks may also be involved.
Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and audit procedures
Experience with bookkeeping, tax preparation, and compliance
Familiarity with financial management software and tools
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
