This position is for a full‑time Resident Manager II with housing to work at Light Fighter Village, a 71‑unit affordable family and veterans housing community in Marina, CA. The property is a tax credit/HUD combo property.

Position Overview The Resident Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the property, ensuring effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. Responsibilities include managing rent collection, budgeting, staff supervision, maintenance, leasing, and compliance with HUD and local regulations.

Responsibilities

Collect rent, make bank deposits, prepare and submit rent rolls, verify income.

Comply with HUD, TCAC, and other relevant regulations.

Maintain waiting list and prepare/process leases.

Supervise on‑site staff of three or more.

Process evictions, conduct annual inspections, and coordinate repairs.

For HUD properties, submit vouchers.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of affordable housing property management experience.

Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines.

Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports.

Strong resident problem‑solving and staff management skills.

Compensation Salary range: $68,640 – $92,817 per year; new hires generally receive $68,640 – $75,817, DOE.

Requirements Collocating notice: Must be able to live onsite. Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record, reliable transportation required. Must be able to develop and implement budgets and have tenant relations experience.

Background Checks and Drug Testing All candidates who receive a conditional job offer will be subject to criminal background checks, education and employment verification, and fingerprinting if required. Those who will live onsite must also provide background checks for any household members over 18. Candidates must also pass an employer‑sponsored drug test within 72 hours of accepting the offer.
