Role Summary Ensure the quality and safety of engineering deliverables by overseeing design reviews and refining standards. You’ll mentor others in QA/QC practices, manage risk, and maintain technical excellence. This role is ideal for detail‑oriented professionals committed to upholding high standards, refining processes, and ensuring consistent quality across engineering deliverables and team outputs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
10+ years of transmission engineering experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Proficiency with PLS CADD
Expertise in analysis of transmission structures
Strong understanding of safety codes, utility standards and regulations
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
Effective communicator; able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
Oversee design reviews and validation procedures
Ensure accuracy and safety of high‑voltage transmission line designs using PLS‑CADD
Establish and refine quality standards aligned with industry best practices
Spearhead the development and implementation of quality control procedures
Mentor engineers of varying experience in applying QA/QC principles and maintaining technical excellence
Champion QA/QC processes to ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality engineering outputs
Interface with project managers to align quality goals with schedule and budget
