Payroll Analyst .

As a
Payroll Analyst , you will:
Payroll Processing: Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time. Ensure all payroll transactions are recorded correctly in the payroll system.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and other governing policies.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Generate and distribute regular payroll reports and summaries to management.
System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems to ensure data integrity and compliance. Assist in the implementation and testing of new payroll software or system upgrades.
Employee Support: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees. Provide clear and concise information regarding payroll policies, procedures, and changes.
Audits and Reconciliation: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation. Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll transactions.
Benefits Coordination: Coordinate with the HR department to ensure accurate processing of employee benefits, deductions, and contributions.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll processing.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate payroll data.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience working with payroll systems and sensitive/confidential information.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Clear communication skills for interacting with employees and stakeholders.
Pay Range:
$35-$40 per hour
