Tonna Mechanical is proud to be extensively growing in 2025-2026! As part of our growth initiative, there is an opportunity for a full-time Human Resources position located on-site in Rochester, Minnesota. The primary focus of this seat will be to provide support to our expanding team and strengthen our recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mindset within recruitment, be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in a human resources role. Key Responsibilities
Lead the full cycle of the Tonna Team Recruitment for all open positions, including job posting, sourcing, and screening. Interviewing and coordinating offers. Onboarding/Offboarding Strengthen the current process in attracting skilled technicians and professional staff. Lead onboarding to ensure a positive and smooth new-hire experience. Pre-hire checks and paperwork Uniforms/clothing Equipment, devices, vehicle assignments, and software user alignment. New-hire announcement Lead legal compliance, maintain employee records, and administer benefits. Update employee folders and information as needed Benefit enrollment MN employment requirements Assist with the Tonna Team’s culture initiatives, such as employee engagement, retention efforts, and organizational development, as needed. Qualifications
3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or related HR functions. Experience within the trades is preferred. A bachelor'sor Master’s in Human Resource Management (HRM) is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with new age technologies. High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Starting pay $60,000-$80,000 Health Insurance with 75% of Employee premium paid. 401K with company match. Year-End Profit Sharing Bonus Program. Vacation & Holiday Pay. Focus on continued education and development.
