Role Description We are seeking a full‑time CNC Swiss Machinist Class 3/A to join our team on‑site in Brooklyn Center, MN. The role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC Swiss machines to produce precision components. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, performing quality control inspections, and ensuring equipment operates optimally. The machinist will also contribute to improving machining processes and may assist in training team members on industry best practices.
What You Will Experience in This Position
Set up, program, and operate CNC Swiss machines (preferably Tsugami) to manufacture precision components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance.
Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting as needed.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean initiatives.
Train and mentor less experienced machinists as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
You Have
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist, with proven set‑up and programming skills.
Experience with Tsugami CNC Swiss machines.
Proficient in G‑code programming and CNC controls.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Strong proficiency in Machine Operation and expertise in CNC Swiss Machining.
Solid experience with Machining and Milling techniques.
Knowledge of Quality Control standards and practices.
Hands‑on skills with Machinery and mechanical tools.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
Effective problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
Previous experience with alloys, stainless steels, and machinable plastics is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machining are advantageous.

Pay Transparency Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Total Range $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
