Refrigeration and Utilities Supervisor
1st Shift – Frozen Pizza Manufacturing Facility – Salina, KS

Responsibilities
Supervise technical maintenance activities, troubleshoot and repair wastewater, fire systems, plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, and other utilities equipment.
Direct and coordinate maintenance and preventive maintenance building support, ensuring food safety, sanitation, quality, and product security.
Supervise and manage the site’s wastewater treatment plant and staff.
Contact and coordinate external service agencies to schedule refrigeration repair work and ensure timely and effective work order completion.
Develop and perform inspections, testing and preventive maintenance as required by the site’s Inspection Testing Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) program; perform daily chemical testing and log all test results, adjusting as needed to keep utility systems within limits.
Interface with state and federal government agencies as required.
Confer with operators and observe, test, and evaluate operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose issues.
Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety Programs to protect employees and property.
Supervise, train, and develop subordinates—up to 12 direct reports—and prepare for future salary reports and promotion.
Ensure you and your subordinates conduct yourselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and standards of conduct.
Preferred Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
Years of Related Experience : 3+ years related experience; Ammonia Refrigeration experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Knowledge and skills in electrical, electronic, mechanical systems, boilers, HVAC, hydraulics, air systems, fire systems, wastewater treatment, and computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
