EHS Projects & Solutions Manager
Salary range: $108,749.97 - $159,499.96 per year. Eligible for variable incentive program.
What You’ll Do To lead, and manage the safety management system and strategies to support the Projects Organization. Partner with leaders to drive strategic corporate and divisional initiatives and safety management. Develop strategies for maintaining safety initiatives at all locations. Provide guidance and direction to business leaders on complex safety issues. Coach managers to become effective safety leaders. Lead safety projects that impact the Division when assigned. The position will own the management and development of EESS Safety Programs.
Job Responsibilities
Provide management and oversight of EHS processes and initiatives
Identify gaps and help drive ongoing improvement through existing programs and develop new safety programs/requirements as needed
Work closely with leadership and employees to promote knowledge of and conformity with EHS programs and requirements
Assist with identifying safety exposure/risks areas and developing short‑term and long‑term strategies/corrective actions
Coordinate / conduct required safety training and additional training to meet local leaderships specific safety needs
Partner with business leaders to assist with identifying and developing local safety initiatives that meet current requirements and additional specific safety needs
Manage safety prequalification platforms to meet customer safety requirements
Develop and implement safety programs for deployment to a distributive/remote workforce including new PPE requirements, corporate policies and regulations and local/state requirements
Coordinate / lead safety meetings, provide details of updates to safety program, changes, and develop safety topics
Develop and support site safety contacts in maintaining and driving a culture of continuous improvement for safety
Work with other EHS Managers to maintain consistency across each region/group
Participate / lead evaluation and learning from injuries, conditions and incidents that do or could involve actual or potential liability, and assist in the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Provide technical / analytical guidance regarding OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as consensus standards (i.e., NFPA, ASTM, ANSI, etc.)
Assist with safety‑related teams, including leading and facilitating RCAs as needed
Facilitate open communication and sharing of best practices
Monitor and communicate regulatory requirements and ensure the organization understands how specific requirements pertain to their business and to follow regulations such as OSHA and DOT
Develop and maintain progressive relationships with field employees via strong communication processes and initiatives
Assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations as needed (ex. OSHA)
Lead / manage company or division‑wide projects / teams
Other duties as assigned
Required (Basic) Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 7 years of experience in EHS in industrial, electrical, and construction industry
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
No relocation is being offered for this position; candidate must reside within the United States. Active duty military candidates exempt.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or Environmental Sciences, engineering (electrical, mechanical, or engineering technology) or related field with equivalent experience in safety and health. Safety certifications include CSP (preferred), ASP, STS, and CHST.
Ability to analyze safety data and determine gap closure
Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment
Previous experience delivering informative/instructional presentations to field‑based and management level employees
Exceptional ability to create and promote cooperation and teamwork
Demonstrated leadership ability to champion positive change
Experience preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations to diverse audiences
Experience developing safety and training programs
Possess a cooperative temperament and have demonstrated ability to create and maintain a positive working relationship with employees and contractors
Experience analyzing safety‑related incidents, including analysis of root cause
Excellent business acumen
Possession of a valid unrestricted driver’s license and a personally owned or leased vehicle to commute to various facilities throughout the assigned territory
Background in Project/Construction Safety and Contractor Safety
Knowledge of human and organizational performance
Demonstrated experience working divisional or company‑wide
