Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our Moving I-4 Forward Program Office.

Core Responsibilities

Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of diverse highway projects.

Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria.

Coordinate with project teams, including client communication, proposal coordination, marketing, presentations, and management of other discipline-related activities.

Prepare specifications, scaled drawings, proposals, finished plans, specifications, and approvals of materials and construction.

Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for executing desired scope.

Review junior staff work for technical accuracy, provide technical guidance, and perform quality control reviews, field reviews, and observations of ongoing construction projects.

Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments; serve as team expert and/or project lead; lead discipline team or small multidisciplinary teams to complete projects; manage a small team of direct reports.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

15-20 years of relevant experience (minimum fifteen years).

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.

Benefits & Compensation Expected compensation range is $150,000 - $170,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and location.
