Civil/Geotechnical Engineer
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an entry‑level Civil/Geotechnical Engineer for its Atlanta, GA office. The base salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, with additional compensation based on experience and discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities
Civil/site engineering and design for government buildings, test stands, recreational facilities, roadways, parking lots, laboratory facilities, etc.
Perform boring layout for utility clearance, supervise drill rigs, classify soils, and log borings.
Perform and supervise field exploration, including SPT sampling, rock coring, and pile testing.
Assist in developing a variety of layouts, drawings, and designs.
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior‑level team member.
Maintain working knowledge of AutoCAD and slope‑stability analysis software.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including site investigations, soil analysis, and foundation recommendations.
Experience preparing geotechnical engineering reports for GDOT projects is preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software, especially Civil 3D, is highly desirable.
Ability and willingness to assist designers, drafters, and other staff members as needed.
Effective communication skills with internal and external partners, including clients, subcontractors, and utility companies.
Valid driver’s license and insurability.
Physical Requirements
Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments.
Ability to carry required instruments and equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Exposure to variable climate and environmental conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
