Roving Service Technician (Phoenix Valley)

As a Roving Service Technician, you will travel daily to various communities in our Class‑A portfolio, assist the community teams, and represent Mark‑Taylor through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do
Travel to various communities in the Mark‑Taylor portfolio and provide assistance as needed.
Assist onsite teams with daily maintenance tasks including work orders, groundskeeping, and make‑ready duties.
Complete make‑ready units to Mark‑Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of ready units for each community.
Diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
Perform daily pool care, ensuring the pool is in proper chemical balance and the area is free of safety concerns.
Complete minor roof repairs, re‑key locks, and cut keys.
Inspect properties for safety hazards that may pose a liability, correct the hazards, and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of each issue.
Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
What You Should Bring
2 or more years experience as a maintenance technician, apartment turn technician, make‑ready technician, or work order technician in the Property Management industry.
Willingness to travel daily to different community locations throughout the valley (vehicle allowance provided).
Above‑average knowledge in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA‑related standards.
One or more industry‑specific professional certifications (EPS, HVAC, CPO, or similar).
Service orientation.
Basic computer skills.
A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

The pay rate for the Roving Service Technician is $25.00/hour. Additionally, this position is eligible for a vehicle allowance.
