The Die Cast/ Equipment Technician Trainee is part of the Maintenance team. This role will work alongside an experienced Die Cast/Equipment Technician to learn how to repair and maintain all equipment in the Assembly, Heavy Duty or Controls tooling area. The trainee will learn how to assist cell leaders when set‑ups or problems occur. In addition to assigned job functions, the trainee must follow department policies & procedures and all company safety procedures and practices.

Training on how to maintain die cast machines and other department equipment
Learns how to assist cell leaders with set‑ups and retrieving parts
Performs duties in the safest and most efficient manner possible
Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment
Works respectfully with other team members
Performs other duties as deemed necessary or assigned
