Fabrication Associate Join our team as a Fabrication Associate at Ferguson. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining machine tools in the shop, measuring, cutting, and forming pipe, and ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay Hourly rate expected between $20 – $25 based on experience; pay range $16.53 – $24.81.

Responsibilities

Setup and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.

Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.

Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, roll and groove single and double random lengths, and thread and bevel pipe with Landis machines.

Move loose and/or bundled pipe from various locations within the pipe yard.

Assemble pipe orders, single sticks or bundles, and maintain work supplies in an organized manner.

Observe vital safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation.

Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.

Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE); including wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

1–3 years of fabrication experience (preferred).

Outstanding math skills and ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.

Experience and training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Ability to remain results‑focused in a fast‑paced, customer‑service environment.
