What You’ll Do
Use advanced trades mathematics along with complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas, all varieties of precision measuring instruments, CNC equipment, and personal computers
Proficiently use DMMs, Meggers, Oscilloscopes, data logging instrumentation and other typical measuring devices
Demonstrate working knowledge of and experience with sensors including temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current, and others related to industrial manufacturing machinery
Use specific software application programs of a technical nature such as PLC programming software, and VFD set up, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Repair instrumentation and controllers

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or education equivalent to a 2‑year technical degree in the field of analog and digital electronics
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Trained in electrical safe work practices with emphasis on NFPA 70E
