Your Impact

Experienced in the design of roadways for FDOT (or other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in analyses, developing calculations, develop of technical reports and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements.

Working within a team of roadway engineers in the preparation of pre-design and design as well as contract documents for transportation projects.

Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.

Who You Are

BSCE is required.

PE required.

Candidate may report in-office or hybrid. Florida resident preferred.

4-8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients. FDOT experience is a plus.

Experience in design software. Experience in Microstation and OpenRoads designer is a plus.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Technical writing ability to prepare engineering reports is a plus.

Experience with highway geometrics, intersection design and layout, estimates and quantity development is a plus.
