Daikin Applied Americas . This position focuses on building automation systems (BAS) and plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive top‑notch service through installation, programming, and maintenance of commercial digital control systems.
Location Raleigh, NC – Onsite
What You Will Do
Provide responsive and professional customer service to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming.
Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications.
Provide training and follow‑ups for customers and operations personnel.
Complete work orders and review them with customers for accuracy.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes and enhance customer service.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without an accommodation.
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law or district.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in BAS, HVAC, or related industry.
Proficiency with test instruments and calibration tools.
Competency in operation of engineering/commissioning tools, DDC controllers, and field devices, plus BACnet protocol fundamentals.
Competency in operation of HVAC equipment and controls.
Ability to understand written sequences of operation.
Ability to read low‑voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams.
Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification.
Experience with common integration protocols such as BACnet MST/IP, LON, Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet OIP, MQTT, or SQL.
Strong computer skills, including networking fundamentals.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Customer‑focused, results‑oriented professional, and strong team player.
Motivated self‑starter who demonstrates initiative.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
Current first aid/CPR card.
The typical hourly pay range for this position in Raleigh, NC is $31.60 – $48.90. The displayed range represents the pay for all positions in the job grade, and individual base pay will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
