Role Summary The Treasury Analyst supports the Treasury Management team in business deposit product needs, attending sales calls with prospective clients and promoting products to the current client base. This role supports management activities needed to meet production goals in commercial deposits, public entity deposits, and treasury management products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

Partner with the Treasury Management Officer to prepare for new client calls and identify new sales opportunities with existing clients.

Provide product knowledge expertise during sales calls with potential and existing clients.

Provide effective sales culture leadership for the profitable expansion of Deposit and Treasury Management relationships to support strategic growth.

Maintain and develop a strong internal network and deepen existing treasury relationships.

Assist in producing professional quality proposals and respond to formal RFPs.

Deliver excellent customer service to both external clients and internal colleagues throughout the credit union.

Network with existing public entity representatives and local centers of influence.

Conduct internal and external training sessions on product changes and Treasury Management.

Maintain knowledge base of current and emerging business and Treasury Management products.

Ensure the accurate implementation and servicing of all deposit and Treasury Management relationships.

Update Treasury Management Officers regarding critical developments in commercial member relationships.

Work with operations, servicing, and product support team members to ensure successful client onboarding, member satisfaction and ongoing support.

Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by Team Leader.

Provide recommendations and process improvement.

Respond to company representatives’ inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.

Perform job duties with limited daily supervision, exercising a high level of discretion and sound judgment.

Maintain knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures which impact assigned responsibilities.

Consistently display successful communication and listening skills with peers, members, supervisors, and vendors.

Display leadership values such as mutual respect, honesty, trust, and dignity, and act in the best interest of the credit union. Always display solid ethics and integrity.

Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.

Attend ongoing BSA training, including webinars, training provided by CPAs, and obtain BSA certification.

Adhere to policies and operate in a safe and sound manner.

Display and maintain courtesy, tact and diplomacy with current and potential vendors, peers, and staff.

Qualifications

One (1) to three (3) years of experience in commercial deposit gathering and treasury management sales and service, and exposure to public entity proposals and personnel.

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance/accounting preferred.

Treasury management training and credentials (Certified Treasury Professional [CTP], or Accredited ACH [AAP]) preferred but not required.

Minimum of three (3) years of credit union/banking and/or treasury management sales experience in a financial environment.

Proficiency with standard office equipment and business software.

Some travel is required to develop markets, attend credit union training.
