Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and analysis for manufacturing operations.
Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on production costs and operational efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, maintaining robust internal controls.
Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a finance team and implement robust internal controls.
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced proficiency with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analytics.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications.
Prior experience with financial due diligence or integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
