Insurance Follow-Up & Denials Specialist

to support a large, fast‑paced provider group. This role offers

hybrid work after hire , flexible scheduling, and a manager who truly values work‑life balance.

What You’ll Do

Perform insurance claim follow-up for Medicare and commercial payers

Work denied claims in your payer queue

Research EOBs/ERAs, correct claims, and submit resubmissions or appeals

Follow up with insurance carriers via payer portals and phone

Document claim activity accurately in EPIC (hospital billing system)

Work follow‑ups by insurance carrier (not by specialty) to build strong payer expertise

Collaborate with a team of experienced billing professionals in a high‑volume environment

Environment & Volume

Support approximately 130+ physicians

High claims volume ensures a fast day!

Join a collaborative team of well‑tenured billing professionals

Primarily primary care physician billing

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of insurance follow‑up and denial resolution experience

Strong knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance carriers (BCBS, etc.)

Experience working with denied claims

EPIC billing experience strongly preferred (hospital billing background a plus)

Positive, team‑oriented attitude — willing to ask questions and help others

Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume billing environment
