Responsibilities
Opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects under engineers who are experts in their fields.
Contribute to improving your community, experience the consulting side of the engineering industry, and use cutting‑edge technology.
Typical projects may include roadways, intersections, roundabouts, bridges, trails, transportation planning studies, environmental reviews, 3D modeling, storm sewer design, traffic signal design, and hydraulic design for county, state, and federal clients.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required.
Basic skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
Must reside in the state of Minnesota or Iowa.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to report into the St. Paul, MN or Des Moines, IA office a couple of days per week.
Relevant municipal street design and construction administration experience.
Strong ability to work in a team environment.
Experience in highway design and construction of MNDOT projects.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of InRoads, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software design packages.
