We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. This is a permanent full‑time position where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of high‑tech machinery and equipment, applying your technical skills and knowledge to solve complex problems and maintain our high standards of production. Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with various machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
Assist in the development and implementation of machine maintenance plans.
Document all performed work and the conditions found; use maintenance computer software as necessary.
Assist in training other mechanics and operators to perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or a BSc/BA in business administration or facility management is an advantage.
