We are seeking a

Production Planner Supervisor

to ensure efficient scheduling, resource utilization, and on‑time delivery in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Production Scheduling

Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to optimize resources and meet customer delivery timelines.

Adjust schedules proactively in response to demand fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, or capacity constraints.

Cross‑Functional Coordination

Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and potential risks to stakeholders clearly and promptly.

Process Monitoring & Efficiency

Monitor production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Recommend process improvements to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance resource utilization.

Inventory & Materials Management

Manage inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to balance supply and demand.

Partner with procurement to forecast material needs, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.

On‑Time Delivery & Resource Optimization

Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining cost efficiency.

Optimize labor, equipment, and material usage to achieve production goals.

Manufacturing Metrics & Reporting

Track and analyze key performance indicators (OEE, cycle time, yield, scrap, capacity utilization).

Use data‑driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.

Strong knowledge of production control principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).

Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Strong problem‑solving ability with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Hands‑on experience managing metrics such as OEE, takt time, and throughput.

Background in high‑mix, low‑ to mid‑volume production environments.

Familiarity with advanced planning and scheduling tools.
