Required Skills & Experience
Must meet basic requirements of an Event Controller SME
Must know how to use stimulation software applications
Must understand basic AFTTP 3‑1 TTPs and Joint Warfare Publications
Experience in running or planning in an active mission planning cell
Qualified or previously qualified mission commander, section lead, or equivalent
Experience in creating and disseminating CONOPS and Products IAW current Air Force or DoD Styles
Must come from a Navy or Marine background
Must have an active secret clearance or higher
Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Event Controller SME to join a federal client supporting advanced simulation‑based training for multi‑domain operations. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing simulated mission events in a high‑fidelity training environment to prepare warfighters for real‑world scenarios. The Event Controller will leverage prior operational experience to ensure mission realism and effectiveness, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver top‑tier training solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage simulation events, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and training goals
Operate and troubleshoot simulation software applications during live and synthetic training exercises
Coordinate with mission planning cells to develop and validate CONOPS and supporting products
Facilitate realistic mission rehearsal by applying knowledge of AFTTP 3‑1 TTPs and Joint Warfare principles
Provide subject matter expertise on operational tactics and procedures to enhance training fidelity
Support after‑action reviews and continuous improvement of training scenarios
Compensation $65/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
