Assistant Gardener Responsibilities
Assist volunteers with the care of Cranbrook’s gardens during the season.
Weeding, edging, planting, pruning, trimming, and general clean‑up of garden areas.
Qualifications
Previous gardening experience is helpful.
A valid Michigan driver license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
Employment Details
Part‑time seasonal positions:
Position 1 – May – November 2026, 20 hours per week
Position 2 – June – August 2026, 20 hours per week
Position 3 – May – November 2026, 8 hours per week
Pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
The position will work under the direction of the Gardener and Auxiliary Gardens Management Chair.
