Level II NDE Inspector
Location: Camden, NJ
Job Overview Holtec Advanced Manufacturing Division (Camden, NJ) is seeking an experienced Level II NDE Inspector. The successful candidate will hold a current SNT‑TC‑1A certification and perform inspections in accordance with established nondestructive testing (NDT) methods, ensuring compliance with industry codes and maintaining the integrity of manufactured components.
Key Responsibilities
Perform NDT inspections (MT, PT, and VT) on materials, components, and assemblies
Operate and interpret results from inspection equipment as part of daily duties
Ensure compliance with code requirements and applicable industry standards
Interpret and analyze test results, preparing clear and accurate reports
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve inspection findings
Maintain detailed inspection records and submit reports before leaving job sites
Adhere to company safety protocols and wear company‑issued uniform when required
Minimum Requirements
NDT Level II ASNT‑TC‑1A certifications in MT, PT, and VT (preferred)
1–2 years of relevant inspection experience
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and quality assurance practices
Ability to interpret drawings
Working knowledge of welding and weld symbols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Optional Additional Qualifications
Certifications in metrology, quality inspection, or CNC programming
NDT Level II ASNT‑TC‑1A certifications in UT or RT
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Salary Range $34.00 – $38.00 per Hour
