Senior Technical Recruiter LaunchCode is seeking a self-directed Senior Technical Recruiter to drive sourcing and vetting of talent for technical and technical‑adjacent roles. This role combines hands‑on recruiting with strategic sourcing leadership. You’ll be responsible for the full recruiting lifecycle while helping shape the strategic direction of our targeted recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, leverage both our internal talent pool and external networks, and act as a trusted advisor to candidates and stakeholders.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $125,000 base + commission structure

Fully Remote

Responsibilities

Execute end‑to‑end recruiting for technical to technical‑adjacent roles

Conduct comprehensive candidate screenings to evaluate technical competency, cultural alignment, and communication skills

Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and success criteria

Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies, aligning with business needs and ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidatesIdentify and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach

Maintain candidate database and talent pipeline systems, keeping candidate profiles current and organized for high‑volume recruiting needs

Mentor recruiters on technical recruiting best practices

Stay current on emerging technologies, programming languages, and technical role evolution

Achieve placement targets while maintaining high company partner satisfaction

Qualifications

5+ years of technical recruiting experience

Proven track record placing candidates in software development, engineering, data science, or related technical disciplines

Experience conducting full‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing

Hands‑on experience with recruiting platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter

Deep understanding of technical skills assessment, including the ability to evaluate programming languages, frameworks, etc.

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with HR practices and labor laws

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems like UKG
