Duties
Answer phones.
Work closely with Election Team staff on various election projects and duties.
Assist elected officials, the public and election officials with questions.
Assist with planning the SOS County Auditor workshops and webinar trainings.
Assist with special projects or assignments as needed.
Responsible for records management.
Assist with processing voter file purchases and payments.
Other duties as assigned.

Clear, concise communication with respect, patience and understanding.
Initiative to work on projects without much hand‑holding.
Professional customer service internally and externally.
Effective multitasking skills while paying close attention to detail.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other state employees, election officials, candidates, elected officials, and the public.
Confidentiality and professionalism always.
Ability to handle difficult people over the phone and in‑person.
Knowledge
Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and other desktop tools.
This position is exempt from the Civil Service Act.
Successful applicant(s) will undergo a background investigation, an abuse and neglect screening, and a drug screening. Offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion of these screenings.
