The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an innovative Field Service Technician (DMST) in the greater West Palm Beach metro area. This position is a “Floater Technician” covering a larger market. Candidates must be willing to provide coverage in: Tequesta Beach, WPB, Lake Worth, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Port St. Lucie.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while servicing our products in the home. Our technicians diagnose and repair all major appliances, TVs, and A/C units, manage inventory, and perform a variety of administrative tasks daily. They are the face of LG and represent the company with the professionalism our customers expect.
Responsibilities:
Travel offsite to customers’ locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG equipment, ensuring top product performance.
Properly use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
Diagnose problems, assess their extent, document findings, and decide whether to repair the product or replace parts.
Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry after each job.
Pre‑screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problems prior to arrival.
Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix‑right‑first‑time, revisits, parts management, OT %).
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Field Service preferred).
Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
Proficient use of tools and diagnostic test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and documentation skills.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to obtain the appropriate EPA Certification.
Meet physical requirements for field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Salary: $56,000 – $61,800 USD
