Contracting & Credentialing Coordinator
Job Details Empath Health Pinellas County, FL Full-Time
What You'll Do
Maintain knowledge of PACE federal regulations regarding contracting and credentialing.
Manage PACE contracts: negotiation, re‑negotiation, and compliance monitoring.
Facilitate fiscally responsible contract negotiations.
Serve as primary liaison between prospective and current vendors.
Maintain electronic inventory of active contracts and public‑facing provider lists.
Provide oversight and training/education to potential contractors on the Vendor Contracting Process.
Assist in resolving vendor disputes and complaints.
Other duties as assigned.
Credentialing
Complete required credentialing tasks for all new vendor contracts (licensing, insurance, OIG checks).
Provide training materials to new vendors.
Monitor expiring vendor credentials and facilitate timely renewals.
Complete annual recredentialing and training process for all active vendors.
Manage and facilitate the completion of monthly preclusion list.

Qualifications
High School or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.
At least 2 years of contracting experience.
Experience in PACE or managed care / capitated programs preferred.
Knowledge of general contracting processes, healthcare compliance and regulations.
Prior contract and credentialing experience in a healthcare setting.
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
Must complete competency assessment upon hire and receive annual assessments.
Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up‑to‑date immunizations before direct participant contact.
