What you'll do:
Ensure efficient workflow and compliance with FAA regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
Inspect Honeywell TFE731 and HTF7000 turbofan engines and APUs during maintenance, determining serviceability with precision tools, gauges, and non‑destructive testing (if certified).
Perform preliminary, hidden damage, in‑process, and final inspections on engines and APUs, ensuring quality and airworthiness.
Approve Return to Service (RTS) for engines and APUs, ensuring all maintenance actions are properly documented and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with production teams, ensuring maintenance schedules are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
Conduct final reviews of work orders and inspection records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Report any conditions affecting airworthiness to the Lead, Crew Chief, Chief Inspector, and senior management.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Licensed Mechanic.
Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting Honeywell TFE731 or HTF7000 turbofan engines.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Characteristics:
Experience with additional Honeywell products beyond TFE731 and HTF7000 engines.
Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) certification(s), experience, and/or training.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage teams and workflows efficiently.
