The successful candidate will have experience in all Human Resource functions, including administration, retention, termination, legal compliance, benefits, worker’s compensation, FMLA, long-term staffing strategies, payroll, and a strong understanding of California Labor Law.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provides human resources advice and consultation to employees, management, including coaching, counseling on performance management issues, conflict management, interpretation of employment policies and resolution.
Implements, disseminates, and monitors company policies, programs and procedures in the areas of training, compensation, compliance, and benefits to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
Assist with recording and maintenance of employee information: personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations/separations of employment.
Monitors division compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, unemployment compensation and other employment-related requirements.
Assists in conducting and resolving investigations regarding employee complaints and concerns.
Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Participates in local and corporate staff meetings, assists with, and influences personnel related decisions.
Involved with coaching and counseling managers regarding performance management.
May lead and direct special projects and/or the work of other Human Resources staff or administrative staff members.
Coordinates events focused on employee recognition and dedication.
Requires travel to affiliate offices by air, car, or other modes up to 25% of the time; must be able to travel on short notice.
Manages the day‑to‑day Human Resource functions in the local office and other assigned offices to provide ongoing support with the administration of all Employee Relations/Human Resource‑related programs.
Reports to management and provides decision support through HR metrics.

Job Requirements
At least 2 years working as an HR Manager.
Must have experience with multi‑site HR management.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with MS Office and reporting.
Experience using ADP preferred.
This is a full‑time Salary Exempt role with a 40‑hour work week.
Hybrid schedule with 2 in‑office days at HQ in Phoenix, AZ.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
