The Sr. Talent Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the talent team, ensuring a workforce that can meet the demands of the DC. The role also contributes to reward and benefit systems, engages stakeholders, facilitates HR transactions, supports recruitment and onboarding, and collaborates with leadership to drive talent strategy and culture.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Support recruitment initiatives, track forecasted requirements, coordinate interview logistics, and ensure smooth recruitment process.

Manage records within the HR system, compile and analyze data for KPIs and insights.

Drive employee engagement, process inquiries, provide relations support, and execute initiatives to promote Chick‑fil‑A Supply’s values.

Advise and support team leaders on employment law, regulations, performance management, team morale, and policies.

Oversee payroll administration, resolve issues.

Maintain awareness of market‑driven compensation trends.

Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state requirements.

Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and seminars.

Other duties as may be assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree.

3 years of HR‑related experience, including at least 1 year in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.

Ability to build relationships and influence others across multiple operations.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Ability to occasionally travel, including overnight trips.

Experience with investigations, including accidents and harassment allegations.

Experience recruiting and developing a strong, diverse team.

Understanding of labor legislation.

Lead through change management.

Spanish speaking strongly preferred.

5+ years of HR generalist experience, including 3+ in a distribution or manufacturing.

Working knowledge of logistics, warehousing, IT systems, HRIS systems, payroll administration, supply chain innovations, safe work practices (OSHA, etc.).

Excellent knowledge of employment law and other governmental requirements related to human resources.

Demonstrated business acumen of HR KPIs; using data to drive continuous improvement.

Excellent business communication and presentation skills.

Food service distribution experience.
