The U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO), District of Western Tennessee, is hiring a Human Resources Specialist for the Administrative Division.

Duties You will join a well-respected team serving as the Human Resources Specialist in the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Tennessee. At the full performance level, the Human Resources Specialist provides a variety of human resources management advisory services in the following functional areas: recruitment and placement, position classification, employee relations and performance management, employee benefits, compensation and human resources development.
Process and prepare personnel actions.
Provide guidance on and administer benefits programs.
Advise management on HR topics.
Perform position analysis.
Oversee the performance management process.
Administer pay and leave programs.
Identify training and development needs.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Requirements
You must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication. This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation.
You must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable.
If selected, you may be required to complete a one-year probationary period.
You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
