About the role As an Onboarding and Transitions Manager at Triad Wealth Partners, LLC (“Triad Wealth”), you will lead the onboarding and asset transition process for financial advisors joining the Triad platform. This role is responsible for managing each transition project end-to-end, ensuring assets, accounts, and operational workflows are successfully migrated so Triad can serve as the advisor’s back office for billing, investments, trading, and reporting.
You will act as the central point of coordination across advisor firms, internal teams, and external partners, keeping transitions on track, proactively identifying risks, and clearly communicating progress when timelines shift. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a project-driven environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and takes pride in delivering a smooth, confidence-building onboarding experience.
What you’ll do Transition & Onboarding Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for advisor firms throughout the onboarding and asset transition process.
Own and manage multiple transition projects simultaneously, from kickoff through completion.
Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, timelines, milestones, and task tracking.
Ensure timely and accurate movement of assets, accounts, and data to enable Triad to assume responsibility for billing, trading, investment management, and reporting.
Project Coordination & Execution
Coordinate closely with internal teams including operations, trading, compliance, technology, reporting, and relationship management.
Partner with custodians and third-party vendors to support account setup, ACATs, data feeds, and platform integrations.
Track dependencies, risks, and potential delays, escalating issues when timelines or deliverables are at risk.
Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership, including clear reporting when transitions fall behind schedule.
Set clear expectations with advisors and their teams regarding transition requirements, timelines, and responsibilities.
Provide proactive, consistent communication throughout the onboarding process.
Translate complex operational steps into clear, actionable guidance for advisors and their staff.
Ensure a high-quality onboarding experience that builds trust and confidence in Triad as the advisor’s long-term operational partner.
Training, Adoption & Handoff
Coordinate platform training and onboarding support for advisors and their teams.
Ensure advisors are prepared to operate efficiently on the Triad platform post-transition.
Facilitate a smooth handoff from onboarding to ongoing relationship management and support teams.
Process Improvement
Share feedback and ideas to improve transition workflows, documentation, and advisor experience.
Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding processes, reduce friction, and mitigate operational risk.
Stay informed about industry best practices related to advisor transitions and platform onboarding.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3-7 years of experience in wealth management, RIA operations, onboarding, transitions, implementation, or project management.
Experience managing complex, multi-step projects with multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with custodial platforms, account transfers (ACATs), and RIA operational workflows.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and deliver clear updates.
Experience with portfolio accounting, reporting, CRM, or onboarding tools (Salesforce, Orion, or similar) a plus.
